Top 5% on the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (SGTI) in 2022 At Yoma Strategic, we take pride in upholding high level of governance and transparency as part of our commitment to remain accountable and engaged with all stakeholders. We are pleased to share that we have been ranked in the top 5% of the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (“SGTI”) for the fifth consecutive year, ranking 15th out of 519 Singapore-listed companies in the SGTI 2021 and it remains in the top 5% on the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (SGTI) in 2022. “This is the fifth year in a row that Yoma Strategic has been ranked 5% of the SGTI ranking. The improvement in our ranking is a vote of confidence for our team as we continue to work together to meet the challenges of the global pandemic with greater transparency in our business practices that supported the interests of our stakeholders.” Melvyn Pun, CEO, Yoma Strategic The SGTI assessed a total of 519 Singapore-listed companies and 43 REITS and business trusts on their corporate governance disclosure and practices, as well as the timeliness, accessibility and transparency of their financial results announcements. It is published annually by CPA Australia, NUS Business School’s Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations and Singapore Institute of Directors. The ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard a joint initiative of the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum and the Asian Development Bank that examines corporate governance performance of the top 100 public listed companies in six ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Singapore Corporate Awards represents Singapore’s highest accolade in corporate governance, and is co-organised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (“ISCA”), the Singapore Institute of Directors (“SID”) and The Business Times, supported by the Accounting and the Corporate Regulatory Authority (“ACRA”) and SGX. The Group also won Best Managed Board Award (Silver) under the S$300 million to S$1 billion market cap category in 2015.

Yoma Strategic won “Best Developer” award at the inaugural Myanmar Property Awards held in Myanmar in 2015. The Company’s flagship project “Star City Thanlyin” also won the “Best Landscape Architecture” award and was also shortlisted for the “Best Interior” and “Best Residential”. “Galaxy Towers” at Star City Thanlyin received a “Highly Commended” certificate for the residential category  These Awards are part of the decade-old Asia Property Awards organised by Ensign Media, which is also the publisher of Asia’s leading real estate publication Property Report magazine. The award ceremony was the result of a six-month nomination process and comprehensive site visits conducted by an independent panel of judges.
